SELF DEFENCE SEMINAR with Shirsha Marie in Byron Bay
I will be running a 2 day Self Defence Course on April 27th and 28th 2013.
This Weekend Seminar will cover a comprehensive range of techniques derived from my 28 years of full time teaching of Health and Martial Arts.
The Seminar is aimed to suit all ages and levels of fitness, with practical and streetwise techniques that everyone can perform.
We will be working with techniques that promote strength, coordination and balance, as well as enhancing single-mindedness and self confidence.
These empowering techniques are a lot of fun as we can express the fiery and focused aspects of our nature in a safe and supportive environment.
INCLUDED IN THE WEEKEND SEMINAR:
- Qigong Breathing
- Martial Arts Conditioning and Stretching Exercises
- Power Hand Strikes and Kicks on targets
- Basic Break Falling Skills
- Followed by an array of Self Defence techniques against a variety of attacks such as: Wrist grabs, Sleeve Grabs, Lapel Grabs, Hair Grabs, Chokes, Bear Hugs, and Punches.
